About Product Journal

Product Journal is an independent editorial publication focused on consumer electronics and small gadgets.

We started this site because we found it difficult to get straightforward, general information about consumer electronics and small gadgets that wasn't tied to a specific brand's marketing. Our goal is to give readers trying to keep up with fast-moving electronics categories a clearer, more independent starting point before they make their own decisions.

Editorial approach

Our writers and editors research publicly available manufacturer information, industry standards, and long-term ownership reports relevant to consumer electronics and small gadgets. We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage of any specific brand, and we disclose our general editorial standards in our Terms of Service.

What we are not

Product Journal is a publisher, not a retailer, a manufacturer, or a professional advisory service. Nothing on this site should be treated as legal, medical, financial, or safety advice specific to any individual reader's situation.
